“Inspiration
Inspired by childhood holidays to the chilled out fishing port Padstow, Cornwall. Warm summer sun, pastel coloured buildings, fresh salty sea air. May the sun always shine on you in this cycling cap.
About me
As I’m a bike mad illustrator/designer this is a dream project for me, working with bello and seeing my illustrations come to life on the noble cycling cap no less.
The process
I found these fish illustrations recently in one of my old sketch pads. The fish were drawn with Indian ink and a dip pen, scanned in and turned into vectors with colour added in illustrator. I thought they would make for an interesting pattern repeat. The waves are a signature design of mine.”
